Our Story
In 1975, Win and Patti Myint opened International Market & Restaurant located at 2010 Belmont Blvd. For almost 45 years, they fed generations of Belmont University students, introducing so many Nashvillians to their first taste of legit Thai cuisine.
On September 24, 2021 Anna and Arnold Myint, Win and Patti’s children, soft-opened the new International Market 2.0 (IM2) across the street from the original location at 2013 Belmont Blvd.
IM2 is proud to be the first restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee, to receive the official Thai SELECT seal of approval from Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce and the Royal Thai Government, recognizing its commitment to authentic Thai cuisine.
In 2024, IM2 was named a James Beard Foundation Award semifinalist, further solidifying its place in Nashville’s culinary landscape.
On November 3, 2025, IM2 earned a coveted spot in the inaugural MICHELIN Guide American South selection as a Recommended restaurant. This distinction continues in 2026, with IM2 once again recognized among the region’s MICHELIN Guide Recommended restaurants.
Lunch: Wed—Sat 11am-4pm (steam table until 2pm)
Dinner: Tues—Thu 5-9pm, Fri & Sat 5-10pm
